Got up with broad smiles and eagerness to know more about Jaipur, we excitedly got ready, took breakfast and started for our next day’s visit. Firstly, we went to Amber Fort which is about 11 kms from Jaipur. The Amber Fort is a fascinating blend of architecture. We captured our memories of this fort in our cameras. Then we turned to Jaigarh Fort. ‘History’ is boring when read but it is amazing when explored. We got to know a lot about it through the guide with us. It is the most spectacular of the three hill top forts there. It is also known as ‘Victory Fort’. Here weapons and Cannons are kept. From here we went to Jaigarh Fort. It was also marvelous sight to be seen. We all spent most of our time there enjoying and clicking photographs. Then we were taken to a handicraft showroom where there were lot of things made from pure leather, ivory and silk, etc. As per schedule, we went to Birla Mandir. It is a Hindu temple. It is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple. We were there at the Mandir at the time when there evening Aarti was about to begin. As per the rituals of the temple, priest firstly applied Tilak on our forehead and then we joined the Aarti. After the Aarti we were taken to Mc Donalds for dinner. From there, we came back to our hotel by foot experiencing the night walk. It was all a real fun.

After a lot of enjoyment, still there was a lot more to see and enjoy in Jaipur. Our next destination to visit was Amber Fort. It is located on a hill, so we went there by small jeeps. We were astonished to see artistic style of Hindus. Our guide that we hired in Jaipur told us that it was built by Raja Man Singh in 1592. Jaigarh Fort is located nearby so we visited both the forts. We took many photos there. We took our lunch in Jaipur traditional style. It was spicy but tasty. In the evening, we went to Birla Mandir. When we reached there, a lot of devotees were gathered there for evening Aarti. We also joined them. We all were lost in Hymns. The priest of the temple applied Tilak on our foreheads. After spending some time at Birla Mandir, it was time for dinner. So, we were taken to Mc Donald’s for dinner. After that we started back for our Hotel Jai Singh Palace by walking.
